Your reflection is a profound testament to your personal journey. It encapsulates the life you’ve lived, bearing witness to challenges faced and triumphs celebrated. It’s a reflection of your essence, your identity.
“Me in the Mirror,” presented by Dermafrica and in partnership with Skinstitute, showcased the transformative experiences of three incredible women. Through their journeys, they discovered and celebrated reflections that radiate confidence. These stories serve as a reminder of the beauty of individuality and the uniqueness that each person brings to the world.

“The healing of the skin has always been a great passion of mine. I have a special interest in this field and I believe you don’t need to have poreles, wrinkle-free skin to look like you just stepped out of the pages of a glossy magazine.
Everyone’s skin has some texture and minor imperfections (as it should). What you do need, however, is radiance. It’s that lit-from-within glow. Healthy skin and ageing gracefully should be simple (yet effective) and that is my goal for each individual client.
At home, I am a busy mother of three boys and have an amazing loving husband.”
Nicola du Toit
Medical Aesthetician & General Practitioner
Dr Nicola graduated from UOFS in 2009 and started out as a General Practitioner until 8 years ago when she developed an interest in Aesthetics Medicine.
“I’m a firm believer of enhancing the natural beauty of my patients with the tricks of the trade. Aesthetic treatments like anti-wrinkle injections, fillers & threads can make such a big difference. A refreshed and natural look is what I want for my clients. Ageing gracefully!
My other true passion is Women’s Health and I take a holistic approach with every patient to treat diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroidism, skin cancer, breast cancer and cervical cancer.
When I am not at work, I am spending time with my two boys and wonderful husband.”
